Happy one week birthday to a very special, precious little boy!  Yup, one week ago this morning we were waiting with baited breath for the news of Conner's birth.  Rob sent this picture today of Conner with the flowers we sent...

Our plan for today was to get the laundry done...and, yes, more shopping.  There is another laundry room in this section of the park which is very convenient to us.  But before I could get started, I needed to get a roll of quarters from the office, so we went for a walk up there and took pictures of the pool/recreation and surrounding areas...much nicer with the beautiful warm sunny temps...

I always seem to pick the busiest time to do the laundry...with only 4 machines, I had to wait but after a good 2 hours later, I was finally all done...a very hot job on one of the hottest days we have had since we returned south after Christmas.  Steve even had the air conditioner running when I got back! While I was doing laundry, Steve stopped and spoke to Don from Shilo Manitoba about his cool car...very nice "38 Dodge"...

It was about 1:30 when we decided to get the rest of our shopping done.  Our first stop was Costco...then onto Walmart and finally Sprouts...and we got home shortly after 4:30.

Suzanne and Dennis invited us over to their place for dinner.  Since our truck is a little too big to take to their place, Suzanne picked us up....thank you so much!! Between our last visit here and this visit, we have been very spoiled by being chauffeured around...and we really appreciate it!

We enjoyed drinks out on their patio before dinner...their neighbours, Dick and Jean, joined us...

We even had my my brother, Don, join us via FaceTime from Vancouver...

Whatever Don said had everyone in stitches...

Then it was time to get dinner ready...Suzanne with Dwight "helping" out...

"Itsa my special chicken"...

After a quick visit with Pat and Ed (who hosted an incredible steak dinner the last time we were here), we had ice cream for desert (great choice, Dwight!) and then it was time to go home.  A huge, huge thank-you to Suzanne for being the "DD" tonight and driving us home.  We had such a great time!
