Sunday, October 28, 2012 (Lake Havasu State Park, Lake Havasu City, AZ)

Well, today’s news won’t take long.  After our usual coffee morning, we did our exercises, had breakfast and cleaned up.  Steve went outside to prepare to move things across the road to our new site...we are moving to site 36 today.  I got everything inside ready.  Now, we just had to wait for our neighbours to leave, so we sat outside in the shade reading our books.

When the checkout time (noon) came and it didn’t look like they were in too much of a hurry, Steve went and spoke to Harry.  He thought that checkout was at 2pm but they would be out shortly...he said that we could start moving things over (satellite dish, barbeque, etc).

With that taken care of, we drove to the sani-dump to dump our tanks and after filling up our fresh water tank, we arrived back to an empty site 36.  Steve easily backed in, we leveled the trailer and unhitched...now it was time to get all set up again.  One thing we noticed at this site is that there isn’t much shade and it was hot!  (88F/31C)

After our work was done, we managed to find some shade and sat reading for the rest of the afternoon.  Here is Steve's spot...

Before we knew it, it was time for happy hour...we have a much better view at this site...

Tomorrow, we are looking forward to exploring Lake Havasu City!
