Dave was taking us out on another ride today but we weren`t leaving until 10:00...that gave us an extra hour to get ready.  After breakfast, Steve checked the oil and the tire pressure on the quads while I made sandwiches and packed our lunch into the thermal bag.  We were all ready to go when Dave pulled in at 10.

We had another great day seeing more of this beautiful area.  We went to Josephine Falls, Lost Lake, down to a beautiful spot on Fording River and finally Sulphur Springs. WOW did they stink!! And made lots of stops along the way as well.  Here are pictures taken throughout our day...
This is Josephine Falls....
That's a long way down there...

Now we're on our way to Lost Lake...
...and we found it!...

We stopped at a viewpoint overlooking Elkford...
Yes, that's a golf course down there...

This is where we stopped for lunch...it was a little windy up there...

Another stop along the way to take in the scenery...

Now through some forest as we make our way down to the Fording River...

A very pretty spot on the river...

Sulpher Springs...what is that smell??!!

More great views of Elkford...

Dave took us on a shortcut on the way home...down the powerlines.  This doesn't look all that steep...but, believe me, it was!!!

We arrived back home shortly after 3:00...and as seems to be the tradition after a day long ride...we were going to meet at the pub for a beer.  Denise, the Secretary-Treasurer of the Elkford ATV Club, was going to meet us there.  By the way, Dave is the 1st Vice-President and his brother, Gord, is the President.
After washing the dust off and changing into shorts and sandals (it was another very hot afternoon), we were off to wash the dust down with a cold beer at the pub.  This sign is on the District of Elkford Offices....Steve couldn't figure out what was so unusual about cougars hanging around the pub...haha...

The problem was that we didn`t stop at just one beer...or two...and without bothering to have any dinner...well, let`s just say that it was a very interesting walk home....
